Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has commissioned Phase 1 of the 11MW Ibadan Hybrid Power Plant (IBHP), marking a significant milestone in the state’s transition to sustainable energy.
The plant, which combines solar and gas energy, is designed to enhance power supply, reduce energy costs, and promote environmental sustainability.

The commissioning of the Ibadan Hybrid Power Plant is a testament to Governor Makinde’s commitment to sustainable development and his vision for a self-sufficient Oyo State.
As the state continues to attract investors and promote renewable energy, it is clear that Oyo State is poised to become a leader in Nigeria’s transition to sustainable energy.
