The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee (NWC) has stepped into the crisis rocking the Cross River State chapter, summoning feuding members to a meeting in Abuja on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
This move follows the controversy surrounding the suspension of state party chairman, Venatius Ikem, by some members of the State Executive in November.
The NWC promptly rejected the suspension, labeling it illegal, unconstitutional, null, and void. To address the issue, the NWC invited critical stakeholders from Cross River State for an interactive and fact-finding meeting.
