The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Europe chapter has appointed Ambassador Osakpolor Idemudia as the head of the council in Italy.
Governor of the Council, Europe chapter, Ambassador Collins Idahosa stated this in a chat with Vanguard, adding that the council and the youths would benefit tremendously from the experience and expertise of Ambassador Osakpolor Idemudia, a philanthropist who hails from Ovia Southwest local government area of Edo state, Nigeria.
Reacting to the appointment, Ambassador Idemudia, a professional in Restaurant and Hotel management, said he would embark on a crusade to sensitize the youth on self-reliance and skill acquisition to transform them into employers of labour.
He said: “My vision and plans as an Ambassador of NYCN Italy is to create a link between prosperity and well-being, a link between economic growth and improvement of the living conditions of the Nigerian Youths.

“We will also embark on a crusade to promote good reputation among the Nigerian Youth in Italy and redirect their activities to something better with a view to tapping their potentials and making them great employers of labour.
“Sensitisation on poverty alleviation and agriculture for food security is also important to open their eyes towards to something meaningful in life,” he said.
Idemudia thanked the Governor and all members of the NYCN, Europe Chapter for the confidence reposed in him to serve the youth, promising to join other youth leaders in changing the narrative for the youths both at home country and in the diaspora.
