    Bandits abduct over 150, new born babies in Zamfara

    Bandits at the weekend, kidnapped about 150 locals including newly born babies in Dan isa community of Kauran Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State .

    The hoodlums also abducted over 30 in Maradun Local Government Area of the state.

    According to the BBC Hausa monitored by our correspondent in Kaduna, the Dan Isa community with a population of about 500 locals, was now deserted.

    A survivor said in an interview that the hoodlums invaded the community, killed three locals and rustled all the cows and other animals in the community.

    When contacted, spokesperson of the Zamfara Police Command,Mr Yazid Abubakar said they were yet to receive the news of the kidnap incident .
