The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has taken a significant step towards ensuring the health and well-being of Nigerian pilgrims during the 2025 Hajj operations.

A committee has been inaugurated to review the National Medical Team Guidelines, comprising medical experts, policymakers, and relevant stakeholders.

Commissioner PRSILS of NAHCON and Chairman of the National Medical Team, Professor Abubakar Yagawal, expressed his confidence in the team’s abilities, saying, “I am confident that you will execute the task assigned to you, and whatever the outcome is, it will be for the benefit of Nigerian pilgrims who are the guests of Allah.”

The committee’s chairman, Dr. Saidu Ahmad Dumbulwa, welcomed members and congratulated them on being part of the endeavor. “Inshallah, I am confident in your ability to contribute to our success.

Dr. Dumbulwa expressed optimism about the committee’s potential to shape health policies and ensure a seamless implementation of the 2025 health guidelines.
“This is not the first time we are taking on such a mandate.

With their expertise and commitment, they are poised to make a positive difference in the lives of those who will be embarking on this sacred journey.
