    Gov Abdulrazaq swears in six new judges, says Kwara to build court complex

    *As Judges get new SUVs.

    Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq swore in six new judges for the state high court on Friday, urging them to discharge their duties with diligence, impartiality, and an overriding interest in the community and national security.

    The newly appointed judges are Ibijoke Olabisi Olawoyin, Fatimah Funsho Abdulrasaq, Oluwatosin Adenike Adeniyi, Yusuf Diko Adebayo, Olalekan Osuolale Ajayi, and Muritala Folohunsho.

    Governor Abdulrazaq congratulated the judges on their appointment and expressed confidence that they would remain committed to the administration of justice for all. He noted that this was the first time six judges were sworn in at the same time in the state, bringing the total number of high court judges he had inaugurated within five years in office to eleven.

    The Governor commended the judiciary for its collaborative approach in the development of Kwara State and peaceful coexistence of its people. He presented new SUVs to the new judges and announced plans to build a new court complex.
    Chief Judge of the State, Justice Abiodun Ayodele Adebara, commended the Governor’s commitment to the rule of law and expressed confidence that the addition of the new judges would enhance speedy delivery of justice to the people.

    Justice Ibijoke, speaking on behalf of the new judges, thanked Governor AbdulRazaq for his swift actions in ensuring their appointment and pledged to uphold the ideals of justice, fairness, and equity in dispensing justice to all.
