    Senate to reconvene from recess on Sept 24

    THE Senate is set to resume from its annual recess on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 11:00 am.

    This follows a rescheduling from the original date of September 17, 2024, as communicated to the Senators
    via an internal memorandum by the Clerk of the Senate, Chinedu Akubueze on the directive of the Senate Leadership.

    The Internal Memorandum is titled “Change in Resumption Date from Summer Break”

    The statement read, “Dear Distinguished Senators, I hope this memo finds you well. Please be informed that the resumption date from the ongoing recess has been rescheduled from Tuesday, September 17, 2024 to Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 11:00 am.

    “Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.”
