    Okukenu IV,
The Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland.

    Your Royal Majesty,

20 Years of Grace, Wisdom, and Royal Impact: A Tribute to Kabiyesi, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo CFR

With a heart filled with admiration, joy, and gratitude to the Almighty, I join millions of proud Egba sons and daughters across the globe in celebrating Your Majesty’s 20th Coronation Anniversary — a journey of grace, wisdom, and purposeful royal leadership.

Two decades ago, destiny placed the sacred crown of your illustrious forebears upon your noble head, and since then, your reign has stood as a symbol of peace, progress, and cultural renaissance in Egbaland and beyond. Your leadership has been both visionary and human-centered, inspiring unity across Egbaland and bringing dignity to our ancestral throne.

Your reign, Kabiyesi, has redefined the meaning of royalty — not in pomp alone, but in service, wisdom, and quiet transformation. Under your majesty’s watch, Egbaland has witnessed infrastructural growth, educational advancement, religious harmony, and the rebirth of Egba identity within the larger Yorubaland.

Your Majesty’s calm disposition, diplomatic wisdom, and fatherly counsel have earned you respect among kings and reverence among the people. You have stood as a bridge between tradition and modernity, blending ancestral values with contemporary vision.

As the Tayese of Egbaland, I feel a deep sense of pride in your achievements — in your commitment to peace, your unwavering advocacy for youth empowerment, and your consistent encouragement of cultural preservation. Kabiyesi, you are indeed the royal essence of the Egba spirit, a living embodiment of our history, intellect, and enduring resilience.

Twenty years on the throne of your forefathers is not merely a celebration of longevity; it is a celebration of legacy, service, and divine ordination. Your reign continues to inspire younger generations to believe in the strength of culture, the dignity of leadership, and the sacredness of the Egba heritage.

May the Almighty continue to bless your reign with long life, sound health, and divine wisdom to steer the affairs of Egbaland to even greater heights.
