Hardly had the dust raised by his sterling performance in Malaga, Spain settled than the buzz about his recent performance in Toronto, Canada started dominating discourse on social media. This is even as he was a recipient of the prestigious ABEDORC Awards of Excellence.

CEO, Miracle Day Music, Uzoma Day Omenka is not resting on his oars after the death of the reggae icon, Majek Fashek who he managed until his death.

Though Uzo, as he is fondly called by his fans, put his music career on hold to mourn the late reggae icon, he later picked up his guitar and began to do what he knows how to do best. So far, he has released many hit singles which are taking him around the world. Interestingly, on the 19th of October in Canada, Uzo gave a good account of himself again on stage.

Commenting on his award, Uzo said: “I am happy for this award, and I thank the organisers for the recognition. It means more responsibility in churning out quality songs which I am well loaded with.
