UNIBEN appoints Omoyiwola 10th substantive registrar

The University of Benin (UNIBEN), has announced the appointed of Ms Bimpe Omoyiwola as its 10th substantive Registrar.

The institution announced the appointment in a statement by Dr Benedicta Ehanire, its Public Relations Officer on Wednesday in Benin.

Omoyiwola will succeed Mr Ademola Bobola, whose five-year tenure will end on March 31.

The new registrar is expected to assume office on April 1.

Ehanire said that Omoyiwola, who hails from Isin Local Government Area of Kwara, holds a Master’s degree in International History and Diplomacy from the University of Benin, alongside other postgraduate diplomas.

She also said that the new registrar, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Management of Nigeria, was expected to bring her administrative experience to bear in the management of the institution’s registry.

Until her appointment, she served as Director (Registry) at the College of Postgraduate Studies of the university.
