Alhaji Ado Garba, Legislative Aide to the Deputy President of the Senate, has confidently assured President Bola Tinubu of a landslide victory in Kano State come 2027. According to Garba, the people of Kano will overwhelmingly support President Tinubu and the APC due to the goodwill generated by Senator Barau Jibrin’s numerous empowerment programs.
Senator Barau’s initiatives have positively impacted the lives of the people of Kano North and the state as a whole. These programs include women and youths empowerment programs, scholarship schemes, desilting of dams and irrigation schemes, provision of federal and feeder roads, distribution of 60 trucks to farmers, establishment of a transport service with 1000 buses, and bringing the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) campus to the Kano North Senatorial Zone.
Garba noted that these programs have improved the lives of the people, enhancing education, agriculture, transportation, and infrastructure. Moreover, Senator Barau’s populist initiatives have attracted thousands of NNPP supporters to join the APC, further solidifying the party’s presence in the state.
Despite the state government being controlled by the NNPP, Senator Barau has received thousands of defectors into the APC. Garba expressed confidence that this momentum, combined with President Tinubu’s realistic and patriotic reform policies, will secure a decisive win for the President in 2027.
“The people of Kano will massively vote for President Tinubu and the APC in 2027,” Garba stated. “Senator Barau’s initiatives and development programs, coupled with President Tinubu’s policies, will move the people of the state to vote for the President en masse.”
