    Tinubu is committed to transparency, infrastructure devt — Presidency

    President Bola Tinubu-led administration has been described as one that is commitment to bringing transparency to governance with a view to ensuring even infrastructural development across the country.

    Speaking at a Town Hall stakeholders meeting held at the Local Government Service Commission, Government Secretariat, Osun State, Personal Assistant to the President on Constituency Affairs, Khadijat Kareem, disclosed that the President is working tirelessly to address issues of concern to Nigerians.

    She added that the President would work with stakeholders at sub-government level and community leaders to achieve its vision for the populace.

    According to her, Mr President is committed to working tirelessly to address the issues that matter most to you all. Mr President administration is dedicated to transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to your needs.

    We recognize the unique challenges facing Osun state, from infrastructure development to economic empowerment.

    Mr President goals is to create a brighter future for the good people of Osun state, where every citizen has access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. To achieve this vision, we will work closely with local stakeholders, community leaders, and civil society organizations.

    All our discussion here will be communicated to Mr President with immediate actions and to assure you that your voice will be heard. We will cultivate trust by being transparent, responsive, and accountable to your needs.

    Earlier in his remark, Governor Ademola Adeleke, who was represented by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, urged President Tinubu to look into ongoing and abandoned Federal Government projects in the state with a view to ensuring its completion.

    His words, “We remain committed to federal- state partnership. We look forward to completion of abandoned federal roads across the state. There are many abandoned projects in Osun State.

    “We commend the President for sending his envoy to interact with Osun people. Our policy from the beginning is that of partnership and collaboration with the centre without political colouration. We believe development transcends political division.

    “On behalf of the government and people of Osun state , we appreciate the Presidency for organizing this town hall meeting in collaboration with the state government. This event is a signal that Mr President really values collective leadership for the delivery of democratic dividends in Nigeria”.

    Stakeholders, including market women, students, civil society organisations, farmers group used the events to demand for immediate action on issues of development in the country.
