Abuja – Senator Bukola Saraki recently attended a meeting of the PDP Governors Forum, which brought together serving and former governors at the Bauchi Governor’s Lodge.
According to Senator Saraki, the meeting focused on addressing the party’s current challenges and future prospects. The forum made key decisions, including the establishment of a seven-man committee tasked with preparing for the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on May 27th and the upcoming national convention.
Senator Saraki revealed that he has been appointed to head the committee, which comprises notable members, including Governors Dauda Lawal of Zamfara, Caleb Muftwang of Plateau, and Peter Mba of Enugu, as well as Senators Seriake Dickson and Ibrahim Dankwambo, and former Abia State Governor Chief Okezie Ikpeazu.
The committee’s primary objective is to ensure a smooth and productive NEC meeting and national convention. Senator Saraki expressed the committee’s commitment to delivering on its assignment.
