    Ososanya hails LSCAC for promoting Lagos State’s cultural heritage

    The Permanent Secretary, Parastatal Monitoring office (PMO), Lagos State, Mrs. Adetutu Ososanya, has praised the Lagos State Council for Arts and Culture (LSCAC) for its efforts in promoting Lagos State’s cultural heritage as well as the council’s innovative approaches, commitment to excellence, and collaborative efforts with other organizations.

    Ososanya stated that the LSCAC’s proactive response to the feedback demonstrates their dedication to maintaining high standards in their operations and services home and abroad.

    The visit aimed at evaluating the Council’s effectiveness in promoting cultural programs, maintaining infrastructure, engaging communities, and managing administrative processes.

    During the visit, Mrs. Ososanya and her team inspected key facilities, reviewed cultural programs, and discussed the Council’s community engagement initiatives.

    The team found that LSCAC has successfully organized various cultural events and strongly emphasized community involvement, noting the need for infrastructure improvements and more efficient resource allocation.

    The team also provided several recommendations, including upgrading cultural facilities, expanding outreach programs, and streamlining administrative processes.

    In response, the CEO. Lagos State Council for Arts and Culture, Mr. Idowu Johnson acknowledged the feedback and committed to addressing the areas for improvement. They plan to develop an action plan, including immediate steps to resolve minor issues and long-term strategies for ongoing improvement.

    In attendance at the meeting was the Permanent Secretary, PMO, Mrs. Adetutu Ososanya; The CEO. LSCAC, Mr. Idowu Johnson and both sides Management and Staff.
