The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, Wednesday paid a visit to the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) headquarters to renew his diplomatic passport.
The revered monarch was warmly welcomed by NIS Comptroller-General, KN Nandap, and her management team.
During his visit, Oba Ogunwusi praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for the transformative policies being implemented at NIS under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“The President, the Minister, and the Comptroller-General are doing a great job in enhancing our nation’s migration management and border governance strategies,” Oba Ogunwusi said, according to a statement by DCI Akinlabi, Service Public Relations Officer.
The Ooni’s visit highlights the appreciation for government efforts in improving migration management and border security.
