The Federal Government has reiterated the critical role of civil servants in delivering the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu, stressing the need to make Nigerians believe in the service ability to deliver on its mandate.
The Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Walson-Jack, while spoke at the 46th National Council on Establishments meeting in Ede, Osun State, stressed that civil service remains a critical and indispensable mechanism for the effective implementation of government policies.
She appealed to civil servants to restore public confidence in the service by embracing the core values of accountability, meritocracy, professionalism, loyalty, and efficiency as guiding principles in their work.
Her words, “The success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, depends on our ability to plan, implement, and monitor government initiatives effectively and efficiently.
“I call on each of you to fully adopt the core values of Accountability, Meritocracy, Professionalism, Loyalty, and Efficiency (AMPLE) as guiding principles in your work. Embracing these values will help restore public confidence in the Civil Service and foster a culture of transparency, efficiency, and accountability.
“By committing to these core principles, we can ensure that our service delivery meets the highest standards and advances good governance across our States.
“As regards capability building for our civil servants, it is important to recognize the invaluable training and development opportunities offered by our manpower development institutions like the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria and the Public Service Institute of Nigeria”.
Governor Ademola Adeleke who declared the meeting open, appreciated the support and cooperation of civil servants to his government since inception, stressing that he wouldn’t have achieved so much without their support.

Represented by his deputy, Kola Adewusi, Adeleke said, “We have not done enough. We will continue to do more for our civil servant. The welfare of workers and pensioners have been the number one of this administration.”
