    Nigerian Youth Leaders, Diplomats to gather in Madrid for NYCN anniversary event

    1. The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Europe Region, in collaboration with the Nigerian Embassy in Madrid, Spain, is set to host an anniversary symposium in August at the International Hotel in Madrid.

    The event aims to celebrate the region’s achievements and foster stronger ties among Nigerian youth and the diaspora across Europe and beyond.

    The symposium will attract a distinguished gathering of dignitaries from Nigeria, Europe, and other parts of the world. Among the notable attendees is Mrs. Binta Salamun, Minister Charge D’Affaires, A.I., Madrid, Spain, who will serve as the Special Guest of Honor. Other distinguished guests include Hon. Comdr. Asefon Sunday Dayo, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Student Engagement, and Amb. Sukubo, President of the NYCN.

    Prominent speakers at the event will include Dr. Mrs. Loretta Ogboro-Oko, Director-General of the Edo State Diaspora Agency, who will deliver the guest speech.

    Additional insights will be shared by Mr. Ayotunde Adigun, Head of Immigration at the Nigerian Embassy in Madrid, and Mr. Chukwudi Igwilo, NYCN Switzerland Ambassador.

    Amb. Emmanuel Ani from Spain will serve as the event host, while Amb. Collins Idahosa, the Governor of the NYCN Europe Region, will be the chief host of the symposium. The gathering aims to promote dialogue, unity, and collaboration among Nigerian youth and diaspora stakeholders, emphasizing the importance of active participation in Nigeria’s progress and development.

    This symposium promises to be an impactful platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and celebrating the resilience and contributions of Nigerian youths across Europe.
