    Published on

The Heads of the Civil Service of Nigeria and the United Kingdom have agreed to collaborate on knowledge sharing and best practices.

The agreement was reached during a meeting between Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation of Nigeria, and Rt. Hon. Simon Case, UK Cabinet Secretary and Head of the Civil Service, held at the UK Cabinet Office in London.

The meeting focused on supporting Nigeria’s ongoing reform initiatives under the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan (FCSSIP) 2021-2025.

Key areas of discussion included capability building, knowledge management, and enhancing Nigeria’s Civil Service Week activities, drawing inspiration from the UK’s annual “Civil Service Live” conference model.

Both parties agreed to explore exchange programs and study tours to facilitate mutual learning, with an emphasis on knowledge sharing.

The UK Head of Civil Service committed to sharing insights on Civil Service development, recognizing the value of learning from Nigeria’s experiences.
