ABUJA – As Nigeria celebrated its 64th Independence anniversary, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, has urged Nigerians to join forces in the fight against corruption.
In a statement commemorating the anniversary, Olukoyede reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to making Nigeria corruption-free, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He emphasized the EFCC’s resolve to tackle economic and financial crimes, and other corrupt practices hindering the country’s progress, expressing optimism that Nigeria can overcome corruption and become a greater nation through collective effort and commitment from all citizens.
Olukoyede said, “As we celebrate our 64th INDEPENDENCE, let us forge ahead in pursuit of reform, progress and enduring development. At the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, we are resolute in our fight against corruption in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
