Tragedy has struck a Catholic mission school in Niger State, Nigeria, where two parents of adopted students have passed away.

The parents, identified as Anthony Musa and an unnamed female, were part of the school’s community in Papiri village, Agwara local government area.

According to the Catholic Bishop of Kontagora Diocese, Most Rev. Bulus Dauwa Yohanna, Anthony Musa died of a heart attack, while the cause of death for the female parent is still unknown.

“The man, Anthony Musa died of heart attack but the female we don’t have the details yet because we couldn’t get the family,” Bishop Yohanna said in a statement through his media representative, Daniel Atori.

The Bishop is the state Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN) and also the Proprietor of the school.
