ABUJA – AS the entire nation has been thrown into thick darkness by operators in the power sector, Thursday, a nonprofit organization, One Love Foundation, OLF, blasted, saying it is a shame to the Ministry of Power over ninth collapse of the national grid in 2024, and second time in a week.
The Founder and President, OLF, Chief Patrick Eholor, expressed displeasure over the poor productivity of the Adebayo Adelabu-led Ministry of Power.
He Eholor said, “For the 10th time this year and the second time in less than a week, Nigeria’s national grid has collapsed, leaving citizens in darkness and questioning the competence of those in charge. With each collapse, businesses suffer, livelihoods are affected, and the nation’s progress is hindered.

“Minister of Power, Adelebu, your silence is deafening! It’s time for accountability and action. If you are unable to address these constant collapses and provide the leadership needed to fix our power sector, it is time to step aside and let someone capable take the reins.
“It is high time we see real progress in our power sector, not empty promises and repeated failures. The people of Nigeria deserve better,” Eholor said.
