    NAHCON appoints new Secretary

    The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Ali as the new Secretary of the Commission. His appointment was approved by the 5th Board of NAHCON during its meeting held on 26th February 2025 in accordance with the provisions of Section 8 of the NAHCON Establishment Act (2006).

    Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Ali will serve as Secretary for a tenure of four (4) years in the first instance, effective from the date he assumes duty. His role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth administration and implementation of policies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Hajj operations in Nigeria.

    A seasoned administrator, former Executive Secretary, Borno State Pilgrims Welfare Board and a dedicated professional, Dr. Ali brings a wealth of experience to the Commission. His background in Hajj operations, public administration, and service management will further strengthen NAHCON’s commitment to delivering world-class services to Nigerian pilgrims.

    NAHCON expresses confidence in Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Ali’s ability to uphold the core values of the Commission and contribute to its continued success in Hajj management and service delivery.
