Addressing the issue of peace in Gaza, Maulana Shams stated, “The world hopes that with the change of government in the United States, there will be peace in Palestine. Our policy is that there should be peace in all corners of the globe. Justice and equal rights should be given to everyone, no matter where they are.”
On the economy and tariff wars, Maulana Shams emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability, justice, and fairness in governance. “If these principles are employed, it will bring good governance,” he said.
Regarding the implementation of Sharia law, Maulana Shams clarified, “Sharia is not meant for non-Muslims; it is meant for Muslims who desire to regulate their lives according to the dictates of Allah in the Quran and Sunnah. This is about marriage, divorce, inheritance, and other civil matters.”
