The Ooni of Ife, His Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has commissioned the Ifoshi Road in Ejigbo, Lagos State, which was abandoned for 26 years, commending President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for ensuring local government autonomy in the country.

The project was done by the Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Monsuru Oloyede Bello (OBE).
Oba Ogunwusi, said the move will accelerate development at the grassroots level in Lagos State. He described the reconstructed Ifoshi Road as strategic in developing the council.

The Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Monsuru Oloyede Bello (OBE), stated that the commissioning of Ifoshi Road demonstrates his commitment to fulfilling campaign promises. He appealed to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, to restore the Kayode Double Powerline and Ilamoshe Estate Canoe roads, which will ease traffic and enhance connectivity.
