    Lagos NUJ congratulates, celebrates new leadership

    Lagos State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has congratulated Comrade Alhassan Yahya on his election as National President, alongside Deputy President Dr. Abimbola Oyetunde and National Financial Secretary Samuel Dada.

    In a statement signed by Chairman Adeleye Ajayi and Secretary Tunde Olalere, the council described the victory as “well-deserved” and expressed optimism that the union will flourish under Yahya’s leadership.

    Journalists in Lagos widely celebrated the news, reflecting the council’s enthusiasm.
    The council urged Yahya to swiftly implement his programs, building on the achievements of the previous administration. They also wished Immediate Past President Chief Chris Isiguzo continued success, hoping for his elevation to a higher pedestal.
    Yahya’s leadership is expected to usher in a new era of growth and development for the union, capitalizing on his vision and leadership skills that garnered national support.
