Kano relaxes curfew for six hours daily

The Kano State Government has relaxed the 24-hours curfew in the state for six hours daily.

The State’s Commissioner of Information, Baba Dantiye who announced this on behalf of the government, said the curfew was relaxed from 8am to 2pm.

Dantiye said the curfew was relaxed to allow residents to go about their day to day activities and legitimate business.

He said the curfew will resume fully after 2pm.

Recall that the state Governor, Abba Yusuf had declared the Curfew on Thursday evening after the end bad governance protest was hijacked by hoodlums and turned violent leading to loss of lives and properties in the state.
