Isheri Crystal Lions roar with service, plants hope at State High School, Mulero

Published on

IN The true spirit of Lionism — to change the world by enriching lives through service — the Isheri Crystal Lions Club has once again demonstrated its dedication to transforming communities.

Their latest project, a heartwarming environmental beautification initiative, took root at State High School Mulero in Agege, where students and staff greeted the Lions with excitement and gratitude.
This marked the club’s first project of the 2025/2026 Lions year, signaling a promising start to a year dedicated to service and community development. The members and leaders of the club showed up in strong numbers, united by a common goal to make a positive impact.
The day was filled with activity and purpose as the Lions meticulously planted an array of shrubs and vibrant flowers, breathing new life into the school’s surroundings.
The school’s management expressed deep appreciation for the effort, with the principal saying, “We are truly grateful for this initiative. It has not only beautified our environment but also inspired our pupils to care for their community.”
The club president of Isheri crystals lions club- Lion Balogun Ibukun NLCF, said:
“It’s in the spirit of Lionism that we change the world by enriching lives through service. We change the world by transforming our communities. We change the world by working together.
“This is the first project in the 2025/2026 Lions year and a great way to kick start a great service year ahead. The leaders and members came out in good numbers to participate in the project.
“They were received with excitement by the school management and pupils. The school principal expressed their profound gratitude and in turn promised improved support to the school’s Leo club. Though, like Oliver twist, he asked for more presence of Lions club in other areas.
Lion Ibukun thanked the host for the opportunity and the warmth reception accorded her and her fellow Lions. She also thanked the leaders and lions of the club represented by the fifteen(15) members present for the three(3) hours for their support that made the project a reality.
