“I am alive, I did not die in Switzerland” — Senator Ned Nwoko

THE Chairman, Senate Committee on Reparation and Repertration, Senator Ned Nwoko, PDP, Delta North has dismissed reports that did the rounds in the social media about his death in Switzerland.

In a statement he signed and issued on Friday in Abuja, Senator Nwoko who dismissed what he described as malicious, said that the reports were entirely false and unfounded.

Nwoko said: “In recent weeks, I have also been subjected to unwarranted insults and accusations regarding the purchase of a car for a little content creator. These claims are baseless and misleading.

“Whether this is a misguided joke or a deliberate act of malice, it has gone too far and will not be tolerated.

“I am taking immediate legal action against those spreading these falsehoods.

“Arrests will be made, and anyone involved should be prepared to face the consequences.

“I will not tolerate any attempts to malign my character or to downplay the seriousness of this situation.

“If you are involved in these activities, expect to face legal repercussions without delay.”

Vanguard recalls that on Wednesday, 7th August, 2024, Senator Nwoko as an observer, attended the Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, APC, Ekiti led Senate Committee Ad- hoc committee to Investigate the alleged Economic sabotage in the Nigerian Petroleum Industry with some critical stakeholders in the Petroleum Industry where they had an interactive session with them and he was at the event till the end.

He had discusions with the leader of the Senate and other members on the High table before the close of the session and he left the 2.31, Senate hearing room, venue of the event with other members and Stakeholders.

Senator Nwoko had discussions with our correspondent yesterday and even this night before filing this report.
