Guber 2027: Lagos APC  group calls for Ambode’s return as Governor

A Group of dedicated All Progressives Congress (APC) members in Lagos State has issued an open letter to the party’s national and state chairmen, urging them to consider the return of former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode as the state’s governor in 2027.

The letter, signed by Abiodun S Fashola, Convener of the Ambode Comeback Crusaders, highlights Ambode’s exemplary leadership and achievements during his first term in office. *”His financial acumen positioned Lagos as a thriving economic hub, enhancing our state’s reputation nationally and internationally,”* the letter reads.

According to the group, Ambode’s achievements include prioritizing infrastructure development, public transportation, and healthcare improvements. *”His vision for Lagos continues to resonate with citizens, promoting inclusivity and sustainability,”* they stated.

The supporters believe that Ambode’s experience and dedication would propel Lagos into a new era of prosperity and innovation. *”By endorsing his return, we can harness his experience and dedication to propel Lagos into a new era of prosperity and innovation,”* the letter states.

They urge the party leaders to consider the broader implications of Ambode’s second term and reaffirm their commitment to a better Lagos under his continued leadership. *”Let us reaffirm our commitment to a better Lagos under his continued leadership,” they pleaded.
