    Group clears air on Afe Babalola’s petition against Farotimi

    A group, Justice for Afe Babalola Legacy (JABL), has clarified that Aare Afe Babalola did not petition the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to persecute human rights activist, Dele Farotimi.

    At a press conference in Ado-Ekiti, the group stated that Babalola’s intention was not to maltreat Farotimi, but to seek justice over defamation charges.

    Farotimi is currently facing a 16-count charge of defamation against Babalola, and is yet to perfect his bail conditions.
