A political group, Initiative for Transparent Strategy and Good Leadership (ITSGL), has alleged that a statement by Dr. Chidi Lloyd, a loyalist of Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike, is aimed at sparking crisis in the Rivers State Government House.

The group was reacting to Lloyd’s claim that the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, had petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate Governor Siminialayi Fubara in 2022.

However, ITSGL’s President General, Barr. Chizy Enyi, described the allegation as false and mischievous, saying it was an attempt to cause disaffection between Governor Fubara and Dr. Danagogo.
