ABUJA – The thirty-six state governors, under the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), have lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing him as a leader who continues to inspire the nation with a message of love, peace, and compassion.

In a statement issued by the NGF’s Director of Media and Strategic Communications, Yunusa Tanko Abdullahi, and signed by the Forum’s Chairman, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, the governors celebrated Tinubu’s “extraordinary vision, resolve, and dedication” in service to Nigeria.

The Forum highlighted Tinubu’s commitment to economic reform, security, and the welfare of citizens, noting his collaborative engagement with state governments on matters of national importance. They praised his steadfast support for federalism and intergovernmental cooperation as a source of strength for the country.

“As you mark this milestone, we wish you good health, renewed vigour, and the wisdom to lead our great nation to greater heights,” the statement read. “On this special day, we celebrate not just an age but a legacy of resilience and impact.”

The governors reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the President in safeguarding the welfare and security of Nigerians, while ensuring citizens’ freedom to choose and venerate their leaders without interference.

“Once again, happy birthday, Mr. President,” the NGF concluded.
