Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, on Sunday, officially resigned his membership from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and formally registered with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Kefas also noted that a public declaration ceremony for his defection would be scheduled soon.

Speaking after picking his membership card, the governor said his decision to join the APC is rooted in his ambition to align with President Bola Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda.

Kefas informed stakeholders that joining the APC would enable him to better attract essential development and resources to Taraba State.

The registration was conducted by executives from the Taraba State APC.
