In a significant boost to the ongoing efforts to restore peace and security in the region, troops of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) have eliminated 15 more terrorists in Kukawa, Borno State.
This achievement marks a major milestone in the fight against terrorism in the region.
The MNJTF troops, operating under Sector 3 in Mongunu, Nigeria, conducted a meticulously coordinated air and ground clearance operation, successfully targeting and interdicting several armed and wounded terrorists on motorbikes regrouping in Guzamala.

In addition to neutralizing the terrorists, the troops also captured a significant cache of weapons, including: 7 AK-47 rifles, 1 Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) bomb and tube, 2 Anti-aircraft guns

The operation also led to the destruction of three additional Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (VBIEDs), bringing the total number of VBIEDs destroyed to 7.
