The Federal Government has established Nigeria House Davos ahead of the 56th World Economic Forum, WEF, annual meeting, set for January 19–23 in Davos, Switzerland.
This pioneering initiative introduces Nigeria’s first official National House on the Davos Promenade—a dynamic platform to showcase economic reforms, investment opportunities, institutional resilience, and vibrant cultural identity.
Aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda, Nigeria House Davos aims to boost foreign direct investment, FDI, forge strategic partnerships, and elevate Nigeria’s position in the global economy.
Born from a robust Public-Private Partnership, PPP, a statement by Abiodun Oladunjoye, Director, Information and Public Relations, State House, Abuja, explained that the project unites the Ministries of Industry, Trade and Investment, Finance, and Foreign Affairs with private-sector leaders.
Eviola & Co Integrated Services Ltd leads coordination and execution, partnering with Lex-Con Advisory Services Ltd, UFAM Services Nigeria Ltd, and international experts to deliver a seamless, high-impact presence.
According to the statement, Nigeria House Davos will host ministerial engagements, high-level roundtables, policy dialogues, investment summits, cultural diplomacy, and bilateral talks.
Its five-day program spotlights key themes: Solid Minerals and Mining Value Chains; Trade, Infrastructure, and Agriculture; Climate Investment, Energy, and Sustainability; Digital Trade and Technology; Creative Economy and Cultural Exports—with Finance, Legislation, Investment Security, and investor assurance woven throughout.
For years, global powers and corporations have used Davos Houses for soft power and economic diplomacy, and Nigeria now joins them, owning its narrative, engaging decision-makers head-on, and signaling its readiness as a reform-focused investment hub.
The federal government urged unified participation from public institutions, private sector players, development finance bodies, and international partners to make Nigeria’s Davos debut bold, cohesive, and transformative. Nigeria House Davos embodies our nation’s confidence, ambition, and global readiness.
