CHIEF Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has commended the burial committee of Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, led by Senator Ayim Pius Ayim and formeCHIEFr Rivers Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, for the successful burial ceremony of the departed elder statesman.
Eze praised Amaechi for his enormous contributions and selfless efforts in ensuring that Dr. Onu received a befitting burial. He assured that the Igbos will appreciate Amaechi’s sacrifices to the concerns of the Igbo race.

The APC chief also recognized the inputs of the government and people of Abia State, as well as other notable individuals, including Senator Dave Umahi, President Bola Tinubu, and Peter Obi, for their roles in the burial ceremony.
Eze paid tribute to Dr. Onu, describing him as an astute, exemplary, and dedicated public servant who left an indelible mark on Nigeria’s political history. He appealed to Dr. Onu to remind God of the sufferings of his people in Nigeria and hasten the coming of Christ.
