EID EL-MAULUD: Minister calls for unity, support for flood victims

The Minister of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Barrister Hannatu Musa Musawa, has felicitated with Muslim faithful across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid el-Maulud, commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad.

In a statement, Minister Musawa urged Muslims to reflect on the Prophet’s teachings, emphasizing love, compassion, and unity. She also expressed deep sympathy to the people of Borno State affected by recent floods and the tragic loss of lives following a boat accident and floods in Zamfara State.

The Minister called on Nigerians to support the relief efforts and demonstrate the true spirit of unity and solidarity. She reaffirmed her commitment to promoting Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage and creative industries, using the arts to foster national cohesion and social change.

Minister Musawa wished all Muslims a blessed and joyous Eid el-Maulud, urging them to harness the power of art, culture, and creativity to inspire hope, resilience, and unity among Nigerians.
