Professor Aisha Sani Maikudi has been appointed as the 7th substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja, effective January 1, 2025.
She emerged as the best candidate among 10 shortlisted individuals, following an interview by the Joint Council and Senate Selection Board of the University.
Professor Maikudi has an impressive academic background, with a degree in Law from the University of Reading, a Master’s in Public International Law from the London School of Economics, and a PhD in International Law from the University of Abuja.
