A Dramatic scene unfolded at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) on Sunday morning when a private jet, registration number 5N-ISB, crash-landed on the runway.

The incident occurred while the aircraft was attempting to land, with eyewitnesses reporting that it experienced difficulties during the landing process.

Thankfully, all passengers on board were safely evacuated, with no reports of injuries or fatalities. The airline operating the aircraft, Flybird Airlines, has confirmed the incident and assured that an investigation into the cause is underway.

The incident has raised concerns about aviation safety in Nigeria, coming at a time when air travel is increasingly popular. The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is expected to release more information on the incident soon.

The runway has been reopened after a similar incident involving Max Air earlier this year, which had raised concerns about airport safety.
