    BREAKING: Court grants Dele Farotimi N30m bail

    Ado-Ekiti—An Ado-Ekiti magistrate Court on Friday granted Human Rights activist, Dele Farotimi bail in the sum of thirty million naira with two sureties.

    The Lagos based lawyer, Farotimi is facing trial in an alleged defamation case instituted by the founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Aare Afe Babalola.

    The presiding magistrate, Abiodun Adesodun held that, Farotimi should deposit his International passport with the court.

    The court has adjourned the case till the 13th of February, 2025.
