The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has taken a swipe at critics of the four tax reform bills presented by President Bola Tinubu to the National Assembly.

Akpabio described the critics as individuals who have not taken the time to understand the proposed reforms.

Akpabio made the remarks during the presentation of the 2025 national budget to a joint session of the National Assembly. He urged all Nigerians, especially those in public office, to engage with the vital reforms thoughtfully.
