In A shocking turn of events, three youths from the Migil community in Nasarawa State have lost their lives to bandit attacks, despite the state government’s vow to crack down on perpetrators.
The incident occurred on Gidan-Raid road in Keana local government, where the youths were on a mission to inform family members of an elder statesman’s passing.
According to eyewitnesses, the attack was part of a string of violent incidents in the area, including a previous attack in Sarkin Noma community where two youths were killed and one abducted. The rising tide of violence has left residents fearful and desperate for solutions.

“We want President Donald Trump to consider Nasarawa State in his plan to wipe out terrorists in the country,” said a sympathizer at the mass burial of the victims, held in Duduguru, Keana local government.
The victims, all hailing from Duduguru in Jenkwe development area, were laid to rest early Tuesday morning. While some residents are pinning their hopes on international intervention, others are skeptical about the effectiveness of such measures.
The Nasarawa State government had previously declared its commitment to dealing decisively with perpetrators, but the latest attack raises questions about the effectiveness of their efforts.
