Though I am still grieving over the untimely transition of my beloved favorite sibling, and uncle by Yoruba tradition, Muritala Tolagbe Ajadi Animashaun just a day before, I still noticed the good idea of the Lagos State House of Assembly which proposes to establish a school of Medicine and primary health care center to cater for all Lagosians.

“It is indeed noteworthy because those who could not afford the highly expensive private hospitals will now get a succor at almost zero rate. . This is what good governance is all about.

“The present steering leadership of Lagos State has been elected to serve the people. Your job is predicated on selflessness and total dedication to the cause of our people . You have done a good job on this particular issue.

My advisory in this instance as an Elder Statesman who served and fought for the unity of this nation and as an advocate for the progress of Lagosian indigenous community , I urge you to please make it absolutely a matter of necessity that in staffing the proposed school of Medicine, 100 percent should be members of the Governing Board and 90 percent of the other staff must be indigenous, bonafide Lagosians.

Our young men and women are studious, brilliant who can compete with the best in the world.

Pease, let us encourage our talented people . They can move mountains. They are presently spread all over the world because of inclement conditions. This ingenuity on your path may reverse the massive thronging abroad . Once again, I congratulate our Governor and the leadership of the Lagos state House of Assembly.
