19-year-old boy develops apps for visually impaired persons to alert against danger, another to detect mineral resources

Young innovator Khalifa Aminu, a 19-year-old boy from Sharada, Kano State, has developed remarkable tech solutions (tech start-ups).

He created a device for visually impaired individuals that alerts them to obstacles via a buzzer, enabling them to change direction. Additionally, he innovated a start-up for detecting mineral resources and underground objects.

Khalifa Aminu and his father visited Professor Isa Ali Pantami in Abuja, presenting their innovations for mentorship and guidance. Pantami received them warmly, expressing commitment to supporting Khalifa’s endeavors.

He offered valuable advice, emphasizing the importance of focusing on innovations that benefit humanity. The visit was facilitated by a team led by Salisu Abdurrazzak Saheel, one of Pantami’s young mentees.

Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami encourages youth to become problem solvers, solution providers, and job creators through innovation.
