The unveiling of General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida’s autobiography, “A Journey in Service”, was a star-studded event in Abuja, with all past presidents and military heads of state in attendance, except for former President Muhammadu Buhari.

President Bola Tinubu was among the dignitaries who graced the occasion, alongside former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who chaired the event. Other notable attendees included Generals Yakubu Gowon and Abdulsalam Abubakar, former President Goodluck Jonathan, and former Vice Presidents Atiku Abubakar, Namadi Sambo, and Yemi Osinbajo.
The keynote speaker, Nana Akufor Addo, former President of Ghana, and Ernest Koroma, former President of Sierra Leone, also delivered remarks. The event was further attended by governors, captains of industry, and traditional rulers.
In addition to the book launch, Babangida used the occasion to raise funds for his Presidential Library. The event highlighted the significance of preserving historical records and promoting literacy in Nigeria.
