In a shocking and devastating attack, suspected terrorists stormed a mosque in the Bushe community of Sabon Birni Local Government Area in Sokoto State, abducting over ten worshipers, including the Imam, during the early morning Subhi prayers.

Eyewitnesses describe the chaos and fear that gripped the community as the gunmen, who had been harassing the area for some time, launched their attack. Despite the presence of security personnel, the terrorists managed to kidnap the worshipers, leaving the community in a state of shock and trauma.
The Sokoto State Police Command has confirmed the incident and assured that they are working tirelessly, in collaboration with other security agencies, to rescue the abducted individuals. The Nigerian Army also intervened, curtailing the gunmen’s activities.
The attack has sent a wave of fear through the community, and residents are calling for increased security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
The abduction has also raised concerns about the safety of worshipers and the need for greater protection of places of worship.
