In a display of cultural reverence and family bonding, international music sensation Davido paid a visit to the palace of the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, in Osun State.
The singer, who was accompanied by his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, was received warmly by the monarch and his chiefs. Davido, known for his humility and respect for tradition, prostrated before the Oluwo, greeting him with the traditional Yoruba salute.
The visit was part of Davido’s participation in the launch of Governor Adeleke’s project in the state.
