Tax Reform Bills: Minister warns against ethnic, regional slurs

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has cautioned against injecting ethnic and regional slurs into the national conversation surrounding the Tax Reform Bills.

This warning comes as President Bola Tinubu directs the Ministry of Justice to collaborate with the National Assembly to address concerns raised by Nigerians.

Idris assured that the fiscal reforms will not impoverish any state or region, nor lead to the scrapping or weakening of federal agencies. Instead, they will bring relief to millions of hardworking Nigerians, empowering states and local governments for sustainable growth.
