The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has successfully foiled five ‘one-chance’ robbery operations, rescuing three victims, including a heavily pregnant woman.
According to FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Olatunji Disu, the police have also impounded 296 vehicles for various traffic violations, such as tinted glasses, driving with only one plate number, and concealed or defaced number plates.
The police commissioner attributed the successes to the effectiveness of their proactive strategies and the importance of public collaboration in ensuring the safety of FCT residents.
