Thousands of youths from across the 19 northern states staged a solidarity rally on Tuesday in support of Deputy Senate President Senator Barau Jibrin, describing him as “the Sardauna of our era.”
The peaceful rally was held at the National Assembly entrance in Abuja, with the youths singing praises for the Deputy Senate President.
According to the organizers, the rally aimed to warn those attacking Senator Barau over the Senate’s resolution last Wednesday, allowing tax reform experts to present during the plenary session on Tax Reform Bills.
